The Mysterious Spanish Ladies are the founders, operators and administrators of RZWiki (https://residents.wiki), a not-for-profit, fan-sourced, unofficial - but officially acknowledged! - wiki and online encyclopedia dedicated to the work of the anonymous music/art collective The Residents!

Originally founded on Wikia in January 2017, RZWiki (formerly known as Meet The Residents Wiki) was hosted freely by Wikia (and later, Fandom) until December 2025, when - due to an increasing amount of intrusive ad content and editorial interference - The Mysterious Spanish Ladies decided to host the wiki privately, to reclaim full editorial control and to keep the site ad-free.

This means that, while the wiki previously cost no money to operate, it will now cost a not-insignificant amount of money to host in the longer term. For this reason, despite being reluctant to accept any donations for our work, we are now opening donations to assist with the ongoing maintenance of the wiki, so that it can remain a comprehensive, fan-sourced reference point on The Residents for many years to come.

If you have found the wiki useful, or if you are a regular user, we would appreciate your contribution to help us keep developing this resource for all Residents fans for many years to come.
