Dan, or Leinir as they are more commonly known, hails from the tiny country of Denmark, but resides in England, where they live with their partner of many years writing fluffy fiction, and making food which some people have described with a variety of superlatives. The fiction usually takes the form of science fiction, though other genres have sneaked in, such as social realism.

Since leaving university, they have worked for several companies as a software developer, working primarily on free and open source software, involved with things like word processing, digital painting, software stores and comic book readers. They have also been known to dress up as a fluffy multi-species biped animal type thing, and a more slinky and dancing blue bird type thing, and they enjoy spending a relaxing time and a bottle of wine shared with friends.
