I develop open-source software and open standards for accessibility, communication, and technological independence. My work sits at the intersection of design, inclusion, and digital culture, with a focus on tools that allow people and communities to understand, adapt, and govern the technologies they use.

I work on accessibility and augmentative communication projects, and I approach open source as a form of public infrastructure: shared systems that can be studied, modified, translated, maintained, and reappropriated by others. I am interested in building convivial tools, in Illich’s sense: technologies that expand people’s capacity to act together rather than producing dependency, opacity, or capture.
