In times of electronic journey planner systems and automated algorithms, it has never been easier to quickly obtain timetable information for trains, trams, buses, etc.. Nevertheless, these systems only ever provide specific information between two geographical points. When I arrive at the situation, I also want to get some surrounding information. This could include connections to places that I wouldn't expected to find by myself, possible transfer points other than those suggested by the planner system, an overall impression of how frequently one line or station is served, connections that are only possible on certain days and so much more.

That's why I'm still a big fan of the classic schedule table, which provides these kinds of an overview. Many transport companies still publish such tables today, but for some it has become difficult to obtain this information in a compact form. This is for example the case for high-speed transport in France, where no official timetable overviews have been published for years. With my "LGV Timetable", I want to counteract this and offer this information to all those who are interested in French highs-speed transport by rail, operating philosophies in France, specialties, etc.

This work ties up a good week's worth of working time for each issue. This is necessary in order to bring all the data up to date, adjust traffic periods, adapt footnotes, check new offers, etc.. For me it is important to keep the schedule tables free of charge, so all of those who are interested in the tables will be able to explore them. However, if you like, I'd be happy about some appreciation for my work. :)
